The Jenga idea was a huge hit! I used painter's tape and wrote different ways to sing the song (since the only way to learn it really is to repeat over and over) e.g. sing with one finger in your ear (they loved that one), sing low, sing high, sing fast, sing slow, teachers sing, etc. I even wrote to sing ILIH on one. Then I stacked the blocks Jenga style and set a little polly pocket house on top. Then called a child up to pull out a brick without letting my house drop then we sang it the way it said to. By the time the stack had lots of holes in it, I explained to them that it's like our testimony. If we have lots of holes in it and it's not solid, it gets weak and then satan can knock us down easier. I really would love to do it again soon, but maybe the very next week is too soon. Thanks for all your ideas! It really helps me get my juices flowing if I get in a rut!! You're awesome!!

I really like this idea, and if I can hunt down a Jenga game, I might have to give it a try. I've heard of choristers using the blocks, but I really like the idea of putting the ways to sing ON them.
Thanks for sharing!

I am making a CD of the program songs, plus a few others we would like them to not forget. Does anyone have a copy of How Firm A Foundation that is shorter than the one on the LDS church website that includes all the verses?
