I usually "brainstorm" by just talking out loud to anyone who will listen. That's usually just my hubby as the kids don't last long. LOL
I'm having trouble coming up with something for this song so I thought I'd see who had any ideas. I teach ONLY the Jr. Primary so I want to focus on something for younger kids.
I was thinking of some sort of hide-and-seek game, but I'm not sure how to implement it.
Let's hear your ideas!

Wish I could help you out, but I'm not going to be in primary during June since I'll have a newborn.
Good luck though, and hopefully a bunch of replies will give you some ideas!

Here is something I thought of looking at some of the flipcharts made for this song. I am going to have a path along the front of the room with kids at points along the path acting out some of the things we sing about. Then there will be one child who holds a magnifying glass and goes along the path "seeking" while we sing each line of the song. Here's what I'm thinking of having the children act out for each line.
KNOW the truth (maybe the tree of knowledge of good and evil) Search the Scriptures (child reading the scriptures) Go to our Father in fervent Prayer (child praying) Obey his living prophets (child standing at podium pretending to give a talk with picture of President Monson) Keep his commandments (child holding 10 commandments) He will be found (picture of Christ at the end of the path)
Our primary is too big to let the kids move around too much, so hopefully this will at least let their eyes move around the room. Hope this inspires some ideas.

There was a great post about this song on the yahoo group this week by Bruce in Kearns, UT.
He says: I've discovered how I'm going to introduce "Seek the Lord Early" in June! I've made a pair of pretend binoculars out of empty toilet paper rolls, gluing them together after covering them with colored paper. I am going to have pictures hung around the Primary rooms that coincide with the verses of the song: - the word "TRUTH" - the scriptures - someone praying - the word "OBEY" - a prophet - the word "commandments" - the word "LOVE" Behind each of these pictures will be a picture of Jesus. A child will come up and look though the binoculars and "find" something that will help them find the Lord. As they retreive it frorm the wall, they will discover the picture of Jesus behind it - hence they have successfully sought out the Lord by doing what was on the paper. I might hang pictures of bad things being done, but there will not be a picture of Jesus behind it - obvously, doing what the picture is will not help you seek out the Lord. Then, whenever we sing the song I can wear the binoculars...

I used the "treasure hunt" idea from Rose on the Yahoo email group. I made visuals (in Spanish for our local Spanish branch where I am the pianist) of gold coins. Each coin has a phrase and picture from the song. We are going to hide the coins around the room so the children can "seek" them. Then they will put them in the treasure chest (drawn on the board). The chorister will put them in order for us to sing. You can see or print the visuals on my blog at versiculouno.blogspot.com. Good luck!

I took am taking the "treasure hunt" in a little bit different direction. I am putting the visuals for the song around the front of the class. Then I am going to read clues and they have to figure out which picture it goes with. On the back of the picture will be another clue that leads us to another picture. Each clue and picture corresponds to a line in the song. So I'll read the clue, they'll find the picture, put it up on the chalk board, and we'll sing that line. Then the next clue, find the picture, sing the next line, etc. The last clue is a picture of Christ, so I can tie in how we are seeking the Lord by doing all of these things and how in the end he will be found. Here are my clues and pictures for Junior, but I just made them harder for Senior.
And He will help me to know the truth Clue 1: Jacob 4:13 “For the Spirit speaketh the truth and lieth not. Wherefore, it speaketh of things as they really are, and of things as they really will be.” Picture: CTR sign
I'll search the scriptures and find him there Clue 2: 3 Nephi 10:14 “And now, whoso readeth, let him understand; he that hath the scriptures, let him search them and see” Picture: Girl reading scriptures.
Then go to my father in fervent prayer Clue 3: D&C 10:5 “Pray Always, that you may come off conqueror.” Picture: little boy praying.
I'll seek the Lord early and I'll obey Clue 4: Have pianist play chorus of “Nephi’s Courage” p. 120 Picture: Nephi's family leaving Jerusalem
His living prophets and all they say Clue 5: Moses, Abraham, President Hinckley, President Monson. Picture: Joseph Smith
I'll keep his commandments his love will abound Clue 6: John 14:15 “If ye love me, keep my commandments” Picture: Heart
I will seek the Lord early and He will be found Clue 7: Joseph Smith History “After I had retired to the place where I had previously designed to go, having looked around me, and finding myself alone, I kneeled down and began to offer up the desires of my hear to God . . . When the light rested upon me, I saw two personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—this is my Beloved Son. Hear Him!” (Prompt if necessary—who did Joseph Smith seek, how old was he? Who did he find?) Picture: Jesus Christ
